New Custom Display Stand
The Kickstarter campaign for the 2nd printing of the Bolted Book will offer a custom wood stand specially designed to display the book. The stand allows the book to be shown face out on a bookshelf or flat on a coffee table—accommodating the book's two bolts in a way that prevents damage both to neighboring books and to table surfaces.Welcome to the official website for the Bolted Book, featuring the first exact copy of Fortunato Depero’s 1927 masterpiece of graphic design and bookmaking—Depero Futurista. This historic facsimile—hailed by de Volkskrant in Amsterdam as “the most beautiful book released in 2017”—was published last year by Designers & Books in collaboration with the Center for Italian Modern Art in New York and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, Italy. All 240 pages of the original 1927 book are shown below.
